Hi,
In regards to this burial posted by Cherilyn
Kemp, Charles Douglas Kenneth
29-08-1988
[aged] 69
GL37 - General Lawn 37 - Grave 1918

There is a death notice for a Charles KEMP died 24-08-1988 (suddenly) at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, late of Eastlakes, dearly loved husband of Nellie, loved soninlaw of Mrs van Doorn-Toom, brotherinlaw and uncle of family van den Berg. Grade. van Meeuwen. van Doorn. In God's Care.

I'm not sure if it is the same Charles but cannot see any other death notices for a Charles KEMP in 1988.

Many thanks for all your replies, this was just what I needed for my tree.

Look's like Charles Thomas Kemp died in 1961, his wife May Kemp in 1948 and their son Charles Douglas Kenneth in 1988 all died in Australia.
Still trying to trace Charles Thomas Kemp's trip back to England on his own before returning to the family in Australia in 1960.
And not sure if the son got married and had a family but would be nice to know.
My best regards Georgina :-)

I did not find their return to UK.
Why did he return to Australia alone?
Did they all return to UK?
Do we have May;s death?

May I suggest you amend the title of your thread to include Australia to draw the attention of Australian researchers.

Also remove the marked as answered or people will think the query is dealt with.
