Can't see a remarriage or a death for a Winifred F Duncan.

Hi trailertrash, Rose is right - he was born about 1912 , I think in Birkenhead. If his mother was a widow she may have a maiden name of Potter but her married surname may have been something else. When a widow gets remarried I'm not sure what name she would put down, her maiden name or her first marriage name? Regards, Rosemary

Hi Rose, Winifred Duncan may still be alive, she would be 96 and her daughter Jacqueline would be 68. Maybe I should try to find Winifred?

Hi Rose, on her marriage details she's down as Rosamond so I expect Rosa was the shortened version. She seems to be a bit of a mystery so I don't think I'll be able to get Kenneths actual birtdate/place. I may have to concentrate on Kenneths wife Winifred to try and find their daughters.
Regards

Rosemary,

The wildcard * means Rosa, Rosamund, Rosamund, etc.

Could be the other daughter was born before the marriage and was an Edwards.

Hi Rose,
You could be right and the other daughter may be a stepdaughter - worth a look tomorrow. Am off for a shower now. Many thanks for all your suggestion and thanks everyone who has given me some help this evening. Night all.
