Hi guys again, thank you everyone for messages of support, Peter I'm not going to say how I managed to contact my natural family as you have advised me not to share private information. I very much appreciate that adoption is a very sensitive subject and going through the proper channels is probably the right thing to do. However I am sure many people are in the same situation as me and have been fearful about rejection. I have absolutely no regrets about my original post on here and would advise anyone to seek help this way, in fact I have inspired my sister to look for her birth mum, I have learnt a lot from you guys so I will help her as much as I can but you may be hearing from her too in the near future. Thanks again. |
