Hello,
I know this is a very old thread but I have been looking into my family history and came across this message board in the course of this.
I too would be interested in contacting family members of Teresa Wilson.
If anyone happens to read this who is a relative, please feel free to get in touch!

Rebecca is no longer a member of GR and cannot be contacted through this site

Hardly anyone looks at these boards - you need to be pro-active and look under ‘search all member trees’ to see if anyone has the name in a GR tree

Good luck

Welcome to the boards, Katy.

You'll find "search all member trees", which ErikaH has mentioned, in the drop-down list under "Search" at top right of this page.

[ I see Patchem also explained this in 2013.]

If you find that anyone has one of your relatives in their tree, click on "find out more" and send a message explaining your interest.
There's no guarantee of a reply, however.

Hi both,
Thank you for your replies. I have messaged the person who has some family members on their tree but unfortunately they haven’t replied.
I thought I might as well leave a message on here too on the off chance someone sees it.
Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately, there's no way of telling whether the tree "owner" is still a member of GR or not, nor how long ago they compiled their GR tree.

Some people take a long time to reply to messages - months, sometimes.
Those who don't reply at all may have not received GR's notification if they are no longer members, or if they have changed their email address without informing GR; they may be ill or have died; they may think GR's notification is some sort of scam because it requires them to click on a link; they may no longer have internet access; they may just have lost interest in their tree. Lots of possible reasons!

If you would like help with your tree, please post what you want to know, and what you know already, and we'll be delighted to see what we can find.
