I might have ended up at the wrong facebook one, but if it is the one that you are looking at there is a picture of a fishing village in Scotland where her brother lives, according to the caption. I missed the sister in 1961 as not expecting births 12 years apart, but who are we suggesting for a brother?
But the rest looks good, so brother-in-law or just another birth?

Missed the comment about brother...no name mentioned for him though makes it harder...not seeing any likely ones either

Jax - generations confused over the bridesmaid. That girl would have been a sister to Ann Edith Webb (Nancy) - whereas we are now looking at a possible daughter of Nancy & Jack. Would be wonderful if Nancy was still alive and well - would be 86? Is she on facebook I wonder? However could you find her lunching out. Surely Linda would have mentioned her mum on facebook?

Only suggestions for possible brothers for Linda J Wright are Tony Wright born Hampstead (next to Hendon) in June 1952 and a Peter J Wright born in Hampstead in Sept 1955 - and then along comes Susan A in Sept 1961

Have you looked to see if there was a marriage that could explain the 2 Hampstead births?
It would easily fit in that there were 2 sons, in the middle of the 2 daughters, but did you have knowledge of them at all?

The only reason I thought Susan would be the younger one is because she has a 21 year old daughter...plus Linda also says happy birthday to her in July which would fit with the birth reg

Tony is a possible sibling as Linda's son has him as a friend also

Hi Patchem, possibly Nancy went to the Hampstead hospital if she had complications with the confinements - also post war baby boom could account for having to go further from home. I had no knowledge of any of Nancy's kids until I started this investigation. FB is giving out lots of clues isn't it.
Hi Jax, are you looking on FB at John Slight in military as being L's son - so it would be uncle Tony for him. I think my only option now is to write another letter to a couple more SLights in Melbourne from the Oz white pages. There are two on the same street to have a go at. I onl did the Croydon Sth one up to now. I have turned into a maniac!

John who lives in Melbourne he has three friends with the surname Wright

Edit - The one who lives in London also has Linda as a friend so maybe that is her son??? Oh its getting confusing now :-D

Now then - Melbourne John could be L's son but her husband is called John too! The London one - if old enough could be a cousin or relative of Linda's husband if they have their pics showing themselves we could judge the ages to help us. I blame FB for hiding people's messages in "other folders" instead of showing them. People have these silly little screens on phones and can't see properly. There is still the possibility that I have chosen the wrong Linda Wright to investigate in the first place. Oh why do we put ourselves through this? J :-(

I will soon know if I am barking up the wrong tree - or just plain barking! The said Michelle has accepted my FB friend request and I have just messaged her.
