Travelman Report 26 Jan 2015 22:33

One of the births Jacqueline found for the Priestman/Pettingale marriage was Susan J Priestman.

It appears her death was registered, unfortunately as a child, in Mansfield Q3 1947. Her declared date of birth at death was June 3rd 1941.

The first child she found to this marriage possibly married in Hull in 1991, a late marriage for this chap for sure but not impossible.

The Mansfield Hull connection emerges again I suspect.

Extremely likely, but we have no proof, although it's too coincidental, really, not to be relevant

Everything points to it being the right family...........

Edit,,,,,,I think should be P,the only survivling child.,,,these entires were typed up from handwriiten booking lists so possible mistakes were made

Jacqueline

Jacqueline Report 26 Jan 2015 16:24

Definitely 'A'

Jacqueline

Jacqueline Report 26 Jan 2015 16:16

That was a twin.............still no initial 'A'

The daughter died also.

The child accompanying Mrs E on the voyage was of the right age to be sole surviving child.

I'll have a close look at the image

I would agree with Travelman

It may be coincidence, but the births of the children I mentioned above were registered in Mansfield district

It looks to me as if the address given for the passenger list posted by Yvonne actually reads

The Malverns, Brooklands Ave, Mansfield.

There is a Brookland Ave in Mansfield NG18
