Find Living Relatives

Hi Everyone
I am looking for relatives of my mother, she will be 90 this year, I once met a lady who said she was my cousin so would like to find her.
Mums name is Patricia Prescott and was brought up in leigh but spent early years in Burnley in a children's home her maiden name was Wilkinson/Henke she was born in Germany. If anyone can help I would very grateful

Yes she had Barker as well they are the only ones I am sure about her mum was eva henke and George Wilkinson her sister came from Germany sometime late seventies as I recall but I only met her for a couple of hours the lady with har said she was my cousin. It is a long story but basically her mum back to Germany we don't no why and one of her brothers died in burnley when he was young what happened to the rest of her family mum doesn,t know would be nice if I could find her this lady she may know more

further to my earlier reply I found a marriage forher parents in 1928 at St Catherine Burnley

Yes, I stopped looking after 1935, so missed later ones. And free bmd not showing John.

Jane was also registered under the name Kirkbright.

If Eva went back to Germany, perhaps they went with her or were adopted?

Looks like there's more to the story, and a Mr Kirkbright was involved.

Thanks Rose for your help unfortunately my mum had a very hard childhood and I think over time has tried to block it from her memory, now her memories are sketchy and only recently mentioned the name Ralphena I will look at facebook but know nothing of where any of them went or what happened to her dad and why she went in the home the people she went to live with were Aunt Sur Ann & Uncle Mark in leigh and their daughter Winifred but it must be twenty years since she last saw Winifred .

Ralphina Bright is on facebook, note the spelling of her name. She is also showing as Ralphina Wilkinson, to help confirm it is the correct person.
