Sorry Persephone, not entirely appropriate, but you did make me laugh

Well folks, something very strange has happened. For the first time since Monday, I have a tree that works. The "details" page is now complete and the whole page shows up not just a little column on the left, but a relative's second wife is showing up on both "immediate family" and "full tree".

Don't fall down with amazement now ... :-D

Thanks to those who tried to help and thanks to those who supported me during a very lonely time.

I think it would be good for GR to have one member of the support team to own a problem - I've had emails from at least three members this week and have had to start again with the explanation. A contact 'phone number should be available too.

I've come to the conclusion that responding to emails is a "duty", and each staffer has a "duty day"

........ I've had several "conversations" regarding various problems over the years, but especially in the last few months, and have on all occasions bar one, received replies from a different person each day.

Each one seems to want a different bit of information ............... and seems to pay no real attention to what was provided the day before to the previous staffer!

it gets extremely frustrating!

Am glad that it is now working for you. <3

Great minds think alike. I have always maintained that the secret to an efficient organisation is effective communication.

This does seem sadly lacking within Genes :-P
