As a general rule you can sort listings on GR by clicking on the column heading.

Unfortunately, after the recent changes to the Contacts page the heading for the member column appears to be missing. You can still, however, sort by the name in the relation column, as mentioned.

The filter is also ok - in fact that is what I tend to use most of the time. It works on both member and relation names and includes the first and last names too. The ability to search for matching patterns is a good thing in my mind, not a bad one, but a nice refinement which other sites use would be an option to specify exact matches.

On the left am i missing some thing for on the left it shows the word delete, i am aware of the the other. There is no other wording to the left. This is how it appears
for each column

Delete, Relation, Friends and Family, Tree, Keepsafe, Compose Message.
:-S

Ps:- i see what you mean but this assumes you know which record you want to look up.
Is does not sort out all the records in one go.

Its on the left - filter contacts.

Mind you, it doesn't work very well. Just by typing ANN, I get not only Ann's but also SusANNahs, and surnames which contain ANN such as mANNers. :-(

Did you notice you can also sort by relation, if youv'e catagorized by that? Click on the word 'Relation'. Again, the results are not displayed properly by alphabet

How do I sort my Contacts - All contacts into first name alphabetical order. Since they are in a muddled status. This means I have to look at each page to fined who I am looking for mine being 47 pages. One who think that the intelligent persons would notice that they have placed a delete contact just were the sort would have been placed.

Is this backward thinking and not joined up thinking!
