Christine ''but all the kids on the 1861 state that the kids were William Pudney and Rachel's''- DOES IT?...WHERE? 2. birth cert where it states the mother of the child is (for example) Rachel Pudney, formerly Willis - does that mean Willis is not necessarily her birth surname? IT DOES INDICATE THAT VERY FACT. Nee = birthname

Sorry Jess forgot to put year of birth of Eliza Jackson---abt1830. Born Cheadle Bulkeley Cheshire. I found the same ones but thought the age difference would be too much. She should have been about 41, and these are 49 and 36! I guess I am going to have to spend another £7 out of my husbands coffers!!! Thanks for looking, if you find any more great, if not, thanks again for trying. Gloria

Hi You helped me sometime ago and I was wonderind if you could help me again. Please could you do a look up on the 1861 and 1871 census for the following family. Thomas Nichol(l)s born 1823 Moira Leicestershire Sarah his wife also born around 1823 possibly the same place Daughter Hannah born around 1847 Son William born around 1851. On the i.g.i. site I have found what I believe to be more siblings but as they are older on the 1881 census are not with their parents. what is confusing I thought I had found Thomas and Sarah's marriage but these children are before this date so don't know whether or not I hve the right family. Thanks you for your help. Joy
