Hi Paul, its Jenny in Tynemouth. I am sure all this backtracking could pay off. My aim has been to try and find a living decendant of Patricia's. The only way I could help was if any of her ancestors came from my area. then I could use the local Library to look at Electoral Rolls. It is starting to look good. I have just found a family tree with Living relatives of Theresa Silmon. If it is all authentic, I am in the middle of checking it on the census as far back as I can, it takes us back to at least Patricia's Maternal GGGGrandparents. As I said, my aim is to find a living relative of Patricia's in this area, that may be able to tell us more. Has anyone ever heard of the Jazz player, Joe Silmon??? Well his father was a George Simon born 1889. He was Theresa's Brother. Shall I carry on with my searching? Jenny.

Hi All, Is it time to spit it into 'A Sad Little Tale 2'. Even I was totally confused as to where my messages were disappearing. It may also be easier for others. What do you think? Bye Paul

Yes lynne we think it is. Her middle name is Fisher, her Mothers maiden name. We also think Peter born 1906 could be another sibling. There are also what could be twins Isabella and Thomas Henry. ?? This thread is getting so large now, it is getting impossible to follow unless you read all the way through it. Plus by the sounds of it, Paul is missing posts or loosing them. Jenny.

Hi Jenny, I must admit it's all going faster than I can keep up with. All I can say is if you feel you have a lead then go for it. After not working out how to read the latest replies I have some catching up to do. I did listen to Win on the Radio on 'Listen Again' via my PC and he presented his story extremely well and I think graciously acknowledged the help flowing in from people like us. It amazing the interest it has raised. Disappointing that there are no records at the Parish Archives but keep my fingers crossed that something may come to light in the Bethal Chapel. Bye Paul

Because new postings aren't being shown I've deleted some of my earlier messages (nudges, replies etc.) which has now produced the new messages and the tale has been moved to 'A Sad Little Tale 2'
