	Probably because the enumerator couldn't read his own writing when he came to transfer the info from the individual sheets to the census record 1841 for Edward's mother Spital Hill, Clareborough, East Retford, Nottinghamshire, England First name(s) Last name Sex Age Birth year Birth place Jane Riley Female 25 1816 Ireland Eliza Riley Female 6 1835 Nottinghamshire, England Mary A Riley Female 5 1836 Nottinghamshire, England Charles Riley Female 2 1839 Nottinghamshire, England
