I am trying to find any connections with Bertha Wilhelmina Fredericka Paul my grandmother who came from Altdamn Germany to Hull and married my grandfather in Hull Robert Henry Roe in 1900 then lived in Cleethorpes Lincolnshire. Would like to know when they arrived in England and if there was any other family.

Thank you for your info. I have my grandfather Robert Henry Roe marriage certificate
as he lived with my mam & dad until he died. What i am trying to find are other relatives as we were told Bertha had a brother in Hull.
My father Herbert Roe was only 18 months old when his mam Bertha died so we know nothing of the family in Germany

Who were the witnesses on the wedding certificate of Wilhelmina?
Cannot see an obvious German Paul at the moment.

My Julius paul was from Germany and was a fisherman I have a photo of him in Bridlington so would think he fished out of Grimsby , Hull And Bridlington do not know of a wife only Bertha his daughter but my dad said Bertha had a brother in Hull but do not know his name. Sorry it is so vague
