Hi all sorry to here you are poorley Dea sounds like how I felt last week. I also thought it was due to the fact the heating had been on 24/7 and I just overheated.

I had a secret Santa today at work!

I had a fab gift sent to me out of the blue from Denmark.....the person didnt leave their name ;)

I will upload the photo of said gift to FB in a minute and see if anyone claims to being the sender

I called at matalan on the way home today to pick up some socks for all the men in the house

I put the bag on the table and No 2 son came home from College and asked what it was....mind your own business I say

He said....is it for me for Christmas...so I smile and he says

YOU GOT *ME* A PRESENT FROM MATALAN!!!!!

When my husband and I were together he liked to impress with his designer clothes whether he could afford them or not. One christmas not long before I left him I bought him a really nice casual shirt from Tesco....would he wear it....No.
Now he is poor after having gone bankrupt I think most of his wardrobe comes from the said store

Never been keen on designer goods to be honest. I think you pay more just for the name and I would rather pay for quality if that makes sense.

Why anyone would want to wear specs with a name on the side?????? Beats me.


The excitement of ironing and Tesco is over so I can now concentrate on other things such as the intellectual and stimulating conversation on here.....hahahaha

Havent got a recorder...So nope,not recorded.

Now theres a thought for our birthday prezzies to each other.
DVD recorder for me and he wants a new stereo ,so thats them sorted,soon as the January sales start that it..;)
I have ordered a large bunch of flowers for my christmas day prezzie,wonder where he will hide them till the day???

Hes getting ??Thinks me a Sat Nav (cheap)as I am fed up with writing directions down for him and now he is doing this voluntary delivery thingy for the local Hospice Charity shop he will need one.

Dont think I could cope with an ordinary recorder now been used to Virgin and Sky for the last 5 years.
I did buy one for my mum a couple of years ago that records to the hard drive. although she has so many video's and DVD's coming out of her TV not sure if she ever got it to work properly.

Now I could do with a DVD player as I have a couple I would like to watch
