Made me laugh before I head off for my "Training"at the "Speed awareness thingy".Still sobbing at 30 yrs plus of driving with a clean license and now getting a speeding job on the dual carriageway after leaving the motorway coming back from Somerset last time...I blame Bezzie for being in the car with me,,,No more long journeys with her ,thats for sure,cos summat ALWAYS go wrong...

My morning group have just gorn home and I have a counselling session this afternoon..............BUT

..........it's belting down with heavy snow.....noooooooo

Just been out to lunch with some old friends - it was lovely and we laughed a lot. It was a bit like the New Tricks programmes as the men compared the pills they were taking!!! Am now allowing the toffee pavlova to settle....yum. They had travelled from Yorkshire and said they had driven through heavy snow......arghhh.



Stopped sobbing yet Fans? How was the driving thingey? Can you drive now? Poor Bezzie getting all the blame - I bet you were non-stop yattering all the way!

Leave home about 11 am ish full of the joys of winter..(not).Decide to go early as I thought I would do some retail therapy in "The big town"if I HAD to go there for this speeding thingy at 2pm anyway...
Gereat..It starts raining hard on the way there...Get into Currys and get rushed £s for one PS3 Game,(No 2 sons desire)..Get in Pc World and get rushed some more£s for one of those pay as you go dongle doofers for HIDs laptop(for me to use in when away from here.!)Get into the only place round here in MILES that do the net curtain type things that I like..Oh joy is me..they still stock the ones I have in my front windows,so get one for my NEW french doors on my porch..plus one of those rod things to hang it on..Very reasonable as that lot came to under a tenner..

Get into M-A-T-A-L-A-N,yep Gins,they have them here too.Find a lovely shirt/blouse thing to wear on sat night to a party and even pick a nice B-R-A up,well the part of the place I was looking in had everything half price..!...Get in queue(There are 2 queues) and when I get up to till cashier says.....this is customer service dept to bring items back...you will have to get in OTHER queue to pay for your items...!
My response...SO WHERE IS THE SIGN THAT SAYS THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE QUEUE..She says...Well it does say on till here that it is customer services.
Me...So I can see that behind 10 other people can I???
Look at length of OTHER queue and chuck blouse and bra on counter and said...* bleep bleep..I dont have any time left now so you can keep em..

Get to venue for speed thingy in swanky(ish) hotel in time to have coffee to unwind with before getting wound up again and forgot to ask price of coffee before ordering and drinking it....£2.50 !
Get into the lecture room and lovely lady(hahahaha)says we will have a break at 20 to 4 for 10 mins and free tea /coffee and biscs available...Nooo they are not say I,why not says she?Because we have had to pay £20 more to be here than the fine would have been,so tea(luke warm)and 2 biccys cost £20..Ah yes,but you dont get 3 points by coming here do you?
THEN she says she is not a teacher (but when I spoke to the woman next to me about the lovely sketches she was doing of everyone on her speed awareness booklet.she jumped straight in with..WHAT WAS THAT YOU SAID??I SWEETLY said loud enough for everyone to hear,that how good you were at speaking and lecturing..So missy I was not being disrespecting of YOU !)
and SHE said we are not at school and then goes on for half an hour about how they are nowt to do with the police and how wonderful and non profit making the company running these courses are.
Upon hearing that the statistics of people reoffending after going on one of their courses was about 6% and if they didnt it was more like 66% I then asked for the average age of people who took up the offer of here instead of the points and fine.
I dont know she says ,Ive only been doing this for a year..
Sooo look around you...24 people and most over 40 yrs old.2 in their late 20s and I about 19...So what sort of age group did you have in here on the morning course..

Errr,mainly middle to older age people...Oh so the same as now then?Well yes..
So that explains your success rate then I think..

I dont think she liked me..No idea why really..Maybe it really started when she asked what name we were called and known by most commonly to write on our little name plates in front of us and I said..Fanny..!
She would have just loved having to call me Fanny....So we decided she could call me by my christian name..

Hate blinds,you keep em thanks...Hate nets too acteewely,but I do have SOME modesty believe it or not,I mean the neighbours dont need shocks at their ages (60 somethings)What I have are not really nets exactly...Will take pic and put on FB so you can see what I mean....OOOPS ...you dont DO FB do you Cyn??SHAME.....

It's 2.00am here cannot sleep - so looking at Internet on my iPod

Have booked my trip to UK from 13th Jan to 23rd Jan - so looking forward to
Seeing all my family - hope all will be ok here whilst I am away

OH does cook so will have to prepare 10 days of meals and freeze them down for him - he can cook - he always proudly boasts -

Oven Chips --

a couple of years ago he managed to heat up half packet of frozen oven
chips and. "cooked ". himself chip butties !!!

But do not think he would survive 10 days on them
