If the woman was living in London, she could have been one of the countless unidentified victims of the Blitz

There appear to be - AT LEAST - TEN threads about this

Can only offer the usual advice, have you checked 'Search all Member Trees' under 'Search' (top right of page)...

Robert Tuvey seems popular.

Also, maybe you need to look back at old 'Threads', and see if there is anything you have perhaps missed, or now have Certs. to back up info.

Unfortunately, all has got 'messy'.

Having now see the multiple posts about these people, I think I shall bow out now. No point to finding what has already been found.

Have now read the link...and I am now so annoyed. Talk about constantly wasting people's time and effort! It almost makes me want to report it!

Dear kidsnpet...please read the GR rules about posting and stop postinf, reposting and reposting again several times with the same request!

1918, 33, Tovey Place, Ada Powell, James Powell.

(I was looking this morning, and just went to check, but think Ancestry is playing up? at moment, can't see image)

Also had a look at image for 1942 Burial, 33, Allcroft Road, age 66)

Chris :)

(quite a bit on google, below was an earlier 'Thread')

edits (Ancestry now ok, 1918 address was 33, Grafton Street, so probably no connection)

Have just posted this on the other thread...

kidsnpets... you have at least two threads on the go and your question here ..is there anyway of finding out how old Ada F is who married Thomas stewart is, (does it have hers or her husbands age on the electoral/census).
as if she was born in 1905, wouldn't she be a little bit old to be getting married for the first time in 1941.

is answered by me on the one which is titled "I still can't find her death"...

Please stick to the one thread! And the best one is the other one - suggest you go to it. and far better for you to copy this thread and then delete it!!

Jude

So hopefully the advice will be taken and we will all be singing ion this hymnsheet!!!! :-)

So for starters..Ada F who married Thomas Stewart is almost certainly one of Ada and Henry's children. Others were

HeyJudeB4Beatles Report 19 Sep 2013 07:04

This is why you should have stuck to one post ...there is this on your other post

Have you considered this please? Could be a red herring.

Marriages Sep 1941
Stewart Thomas C Turner Pancras 1b 64
Turner Ada F Stewart Pancras 1b 64

Name: Ada F Stewart
Year: 1961
County or Borough: Camden
Ward or Division/Constituency: St Pancras North
Street Address: 33 Bap Tist

But actually at 33 Allcroft Road.

last name Stewart
first names Ada
Burial date 10 Feb 1988
Authority London Borough of Camden
Location St Pancras Cemetery (Camden)

But you can discount this one as she was born in 1905...and is probably the daughter of Ada and Henry?

think I am just getting in a muddle now, have found this one as well now
Turner Ada E (E could have been put instead of F) age 78 Pancras 1b 93 1944 this would be the right area but she would be 73 not 78
and this one is exactly the right age
Turner Ada 73 Hammersmith 1a 168 1944 but 7 miles from where most of her family lived
so don't know which one is the most likely :-S

When you search on deceasedonline, if you click on the name it gives a little more detail without costing credits. To see who is in the lair though you need credits.

Hope that helps.

Grafton Road St Pancras and Hendon are 4 miles apart....I'd wager that is a BIG clue!

It's worth a £9.25 punt!

You know her new partner "Tuvey"...have you checked out when/where he died - might give a clue

kidsnpets

kidsnpets Report 18 Sep 2013 18:50

thank you,
she did have a new partner, they were together years, and he was quite a bit older then her so not so sure if she would have knocked a few years of.

I already have one wrong death certificate, don't really want to send of for another one, unless I am 100%.
can anyone find any other deaths that could possibly be her before I send of for it.

many thanks for the help <3

HeyJudeB4Beatles Report 18 Sep 2013 18:37

A death certificate is only as good as the informant....

My mum was the informant for her mother's death and gave the wrong year of birth and so my nan was recorded as being a year younger than she actually was.

Reading your older posts maybe after Henry "left" she had a new partner and shaved a few years off her age...not unheard of!

I would get the death certificate and see if there are any clues you can work back from.

kidsnpets Report 18 Sep 2013 18:14

thank you,
how do you know there are 11 other burials in that grave? and the other thing is that ada should be around 71 years of age when she died, not 66, but this is the only one I can find that is in the right area etc, I have been looking for a few years now, don't see why her death certificate would say she was 6 years younger then she was? any ideas please :-S

Date of Registration: Mar 1942

Remember that a burial may not always take place in the same area as the death was registered.

There are 11 other burials in that grave so it may be a communal lair.
