Lillian Broom was the daughter of Henry Broom and Lydia Lowen, Lillian Broom married William Bowditch ( Lillian was the elder half sister of James Sherriff) I didn't see her on the 1939 register for this household but her husband William Bowditch is there. So frustrating that the 1939 register does not give place of birth? Find it strange that both the Sherriff's and Lowen's all married so late? never come across this before?

If David Lowen was born 1887, then Elizabeth was a fair bit older than him.

Could it be the 1939 register is wrong?

I can't see a death for Elizabeth Lowen born around 1875.

Elizabeth is on the electoral registers at Gillett Street until 1939- there were no electoral registers during the war. She does not appear at Gillett Street after the war.

So, could this be her death- approx birth year 1895?
