Can someone please look up a 1911 Scotland Census for me

I am searching for a Mary Ann Stewart (husband unknown) with sons David Duncan Stewart born 1908 & Alexander Duncan Stewart born 1910 both at Breckin

The 1911 census for Scotland is only on Scotlands People website.
Although, as Shirley correctly says, it's a site where you have to buy credits, it's possible to do a free basic search by manipulating the known info, but you'd have to buy credits to view the image and see all the details.

Could be this family??
If so, Mary Ann seems to have a husband David (but he could be a brother - you'd have to view the image to be sure).

When you say "husband unknown", do you mean that no father is named on the children's birth certs, or just that you personally don't know his name?

Had a few credits on that site so took a look but I don't know how to get a transcription ??

This is what it shows but I can't quite read all the birthplaces - all the children are Brechin - Mary A is Forfar ? and David looks like Lei?? somewhere in Forfarth??

Maybe possibly David's death - I don't know what the second middle name is - you'd have to buy a copy of the cert to see that, unfortunately.

David Duncan Stewart was born on 30th March 1908 at 99 River St., Brechin to David Stewart (General Labourer) and Mary Ann Stewart (maiden name Duncan). They were apparently married in 1904 on 30th December in Brechin. (That is what it says on David's 1908 birth registration).

An update on my research
Mary Ann Duncan married David Stewart 30/12/1904. Their children were David Duncan Stewart born 30/3/1908 & Alexander Duncan Stewart born 7/10/1910

Mary Ann Duncan had 2 illegitimate sons James Crocket Gibson Duncan born 13/6/1894 Charles Thomson Duncan born 9/2/1896.

1911 Census states they had 6 children 2 died ,this must have been between 1904 (their marriage ) & David Duncan Stewarts birth in 1908 impossible to know who they were as to many on Scotlands People

So this is Mary Ann with her family.

Just found another Illegitimate child for Mary Ann Duncan born 1875
Mary Fenton Duncan born 13/4/1904 died 18/4/1904, eight months before she married David Stewart, strangest thing is Isabella Fenton the childs grandmother was the informant
1911 census says that David & Mary had 6 children 2 have died I have to now find who the other child is.
Maybe between Charles Thomas Duncan born 1896 & Mary Fenton born 1904 or after she married David Stewart 1904 before David Duncan Stewarts birth in 1908?

Scotlands People is working properly again this morning, thank goodness.

These are the only Stewart children born 1904-1911, who died in Brechin 1904-1911 - have you checked them all out?

My money's on the last one AG seeing he has Milne as a middle name. That was Mary Ann's middle name on her MC.

Looking up an Isabella Fenton in Brechin, I came across this one.

I think this Mary Duncan is the mother of Mary Fenton Duncan. The 1881 I posted above has Simona Duncan in it as has the 1901 posted so I would think that is the correct family for the poster's Mary Ann Duncan.

I agree with Alviegal about Mary Fenton, Ellen.
She's not your Mary's daughter.

Unfortunately Mary Fenton's birth cert wouldn't help prove it either way, as it would only say "mother Mary Duncan, unmarried" or words to that effect.
