Edward is using his step fathers surname, not his birth name. 1871 census 6 Williams Buildings, Tower Hamlets,Mile End Old Town. Edward Loder age 25 general labourer born Ratcliffe Mary Ann Loder age 23 I am unsure if this is him?? What do you think? " "
