Agnes Greenlaw 1861 Census

I was wondering if anyone could find my 4x great grandmother on the 1861 census?

My 4x great grandmother was born Agnes Wasdale in 1805 and I have a birth date of 13/2/1805 and a christening date of 15/2/1805 at St John, Beckermet church, Beckermet which now comes under the diocese of Carlisle.

Agnes married twice first John Oswald Cannon though I’m struggling to find their marriage and second William Quiggin Greenlaw on 22/3/1837 in Whitehaven, Cumberland. William’s parents married at the end of 1814 in Whitehaven and he appears to have been born in 1815 though I cannot find a christening record. As a result of William being 10 years younger than Agnes age is a very elastic concept to her and she claims to have been born anywhere between her own year of birth and her husbands and changes it on each census.

William died in 1854 and Agnes has a tendency to deposit her children with different relatives however children who might be living with her are Alexander Henry Greenlaw (1837), Jane Greenlaw (1840), William Quiggin Greenlaw (1841) and Margaret Quiggin Greenlaw (1843). Her youngest daughter Eleanor Wasdale Greenlaw (1845) is working as a house servant in the home of her half brother Thomas Coulthard Cannon (1832).

All the children were born in Whitehaven. Can anyone find Agnes?

It is the same family. John Gorman is Margaret’s nephew by marriage. John Gorman is the son in law of Margaret’s sister Eleanor and her husband Andrew Connelly.

John Gorman’s wife Agnes is the granddaughter of Agnes Greenlaw (Wasdale)
