Looking at the image, no surname is recorded for the infant. It merely says Baby son......under 1 month old.

Ancestry have transcribed him as Coles..............assuming relationship to be to head of household, which was the correct way to fill out the census.

What else do you know about the woman? Her birth would more probably have been in 1894.............unless, of course, you have her birth cert and know differently.

Obviously, the place of the boy's birth was COTSWOLD Road.

Her husband survived WW1 , with the Royal Garrison Artillery. He died in 1965.

Their son Francis Ronald was killed in France in 1944, an Air Gunner with RAF Bomber Command.
