Hi Lorraine, Could you do a check on 1841 census for me please for the following. William BENTON (age 30, born NewTown, Edinburgh?) job: either Tailor or Excise Officer. Hannah Thirza BENTON (age 32, born Newcastle, Staffordshire) John Fitzroy BENTON (age 3, born 16/12/1837, Newcastle, Staffordshire) They weren't living in Newcastle, Staffs anymore in the 1841 census - someone checked for me before. Their next son, William BENTON was born 20/10/1841, Great Farringdon, Berkshire, so most likely they were living there when 1841 census took place. (Their next daughter was also born in Farringdon in 1843....) Thanks. Derek.

Dear Lorraine Many thanks for your kind offer. Would you be able to look for William John Floy(e)d for me in 1841, please? I am pretty sure he should be in Middlesex, as he was born in Limehouse, married in 1845 in Hoxton, and after that lived in Poplar... He was a caulker in 1851. His father was also a William, although deceased in 1845. Many thanks, and best wishes Lysianne
