Susie, thanks for trying. I couldn't say where to look for him now, could be anywhere. I suppose you can only search by town is that right? Carol

Hi Susie Once again you come up with info that gives me more names to go on, you are a real star. Have just realised, having re-read the thread, that I e-mailed Denise on 25/7 re Harriett Alcock. I s there any sign of Harriett in 1851 or 1861 census? Has Denise asked previously would you remember? Thanks again Bryan

Bryan Report 11 Aug 2005 13:22

Hi Susie There 2 Harrietts in my tree! Harriett born 1822, daughter of Henry and Rebecca, husband’s name unknown, had daughter born 1848 called Emily. Harriett born 1848, daughter of Thomas and Sarah, married Samuel Higgs. (I have just checked on search and Denise has Harriett born1849 on her tree and also she has Samuel Higgs of Rowsham born 1847 in Rowsham) looks like a match to me. Is there any sign of Edward (surname Cock on 1841 census) born 1823 who married Ann Hedges in 1844, I haven’t found him in Wingrave and wonder if he moved to somewhere else in Bucks. Thanks, you are a real star, Bryan

Joan of Arc(hives) Report 11 Aug 2005 13:50

Hi Susie I know you've looked for him before, but can you have another look for William FLEET & his father Francis FLEET living in Aylesbury in around 1840? I know about Francis (b. 1808) living with Mary Ann in Aylesbury but this appears to be a different Francis Fleet. He was with Esther /Hester I think. Can you check any marriage records around that time too? Work your magic for me!! Cheers Joan x
