Hi, would you do a search for me please? Marriage of John Manners to Ann ? Their first child was born in Cumberland in 1823 but Ann was born in Dipton, Durham in 1796 so marriage may have taken place there. Any info gratefully received. Thanks! Angela

Hi Claire Thank you very much for checking for the marriage of John STOBART and Dorothy. It is more likely to be the second one as Dorothy was born about 1811 so 1825 would be too early. I noticed in one of your earlier replies to Rob that you mentioned having checked both counties just in case they had popped over the line ... would the line have been the Tyne?!! If so, and you have the marriages for Northumberland, could you please check for a marriage for John STOBART and Dorothy in case they married in Newcastle?! Thanks again and God bless you, Lynne

Hello again Claire May I have another lookup please from both sides of the line, I mean Tyne! Ann MIDDLETON to ??? post 1818. One possibility is a man named ROBSON. Ann had an illegitimate son in 1818 who was raised by his father and we do not know what became of Ann. She may have died, of course, but we were wondering if there are any likely marriages that could be followed? Thank you. Kind regards and God bless you, Lynne xx P.S. Pretty sure the marriage you found in Newcastle for John STOBBART and Dorothy CURRY is the one and will follow up further. They had a son called Robert Curry STOBBART found still at home in 1871! Thanks again.
