Claire, I have on the 1841 census, the following: John YOUNGER aged 45 Hannah YOUNGER aged 45 Mary YOUNGER aged 13 William YOUNGER aged 11 John YOUNGER aged 6 MARY TEMPLEY (though I reckon it be TEMPERLY/TEMPERLEY) aged 5 There's an outside possibility that these children are John's but not Hannah's but if they aren't step children then John & Hannah would have married some time before 1827 and I doubt that Mary is the eldest child anyway. Incidentally, the 1851 census, show that Mary TEMPLEY/TEMPERLEY is a niece of John YOUNGER. Subsequent census also show that John (snr) was born in West Rainton and Hannah was born in Stanhope. Andy

Hi Claire, this one is for across the Tyne in Northumberland please if that's okay? Sorry about the name but could you please look for a marriage for William ROBSON? William and *Elizabeth* ROBSON were my 3xGreat Grandparents but I do not know Elizabeth's maiden name. Elizabeth and William lived in Elsdon where their daughter Ann was born 12 January 1836 at Overacres Cottage. I only know of one other child, Isabella born in 1839, so a marriage around 1834/35 would be likely. Thank you. Kind regards and God bless you, Lynne x

Hi Claire Yes, I'm well, thanks for asking, recovering from some minor surgery! Thank you for checking the marriages for Elizabeth and William ROBSON. The IGI does not have a match for any of the Elizabeth's born about 1801 at Elsdon/Otterburn (the birth date/place of my GGGGrandmother from Census records) so still none-the-wiser - but at least I have some possibilities to work with now! May have to consider getting the birth certificate for Isabella ROBSON, my GGGrandmother Ann's sister, as Isabella was born after 1837. Thanks again. God bless you, Lynne x
