1871 look up please for a william carroll would have been 17 in 1871 born st georges middlesex father james carroll no idea of age of him though sorry also a johanna danahar would have been 12 in 1871 also born st georges middlesex, she was married to william by 1881, and I have asked someone to look up them in 1891, before i saw this thread, but it would be nice to see in 1901, they had children william aged 23 in 1901 and annie aged 22 in 1901, so it would be nice to see if they are on 1901 all together still, for some reason johanna is on as annie in 1881 if that is any help best wishes thankyou janet

Tracy, If you have a search facility on the 1891, please could you look up for me: Mary Jane Battersby born Shipley/Bradford 1873 and George William Sheard born Shipley/Bradford 1873. They should be in Bradford, possibly in the North Bierley area. I expect them to be living fairly close together as they got married in December 1891, but probably in different households. I'd be grateful for any information. Thankyou, Ann

Tracy, Thankyou so much for this. Very interesting that George is identified as a stepson. That should prevent me tootling off down some wrong paths. I'm not sure if the Mary is the right one - but I think that she is the same one I found on the 1881. I'll have to get some certs to check. Thanks again, Ann

Hi Tracy I was wondering if you could do me a 1891 and 1901 look up for a John Davis He was married in 1910 in Mile End, But the woman he married was from Southwark Newington so in 1891 he probably be about 4 or 5 and he might be living in Dante Road Newington. and the same again in 1901. Not sure at all really as I am totaly stuck on this stupid man. Quick story that made me think of Dante Road was My Nan was born in Dante Road with father Jack Davis but he didnt live with them. My Nans Grandfather and mother lived at 39 Dante Road in 1901 and in 1881 a John Davis and Matilda lived at 29 Dante road, and wondered if I found them in 1891 and 1901 I might find John Davis. Totaly confused you now havnt I. Thanks Debbie

Ann Report 15 May 2004 00:08

Tracy, Please can I be cheeky and ask for some more lookups - On 1891 and 1871 if possible - Edwin Sheard born 1857 app Liversedge nr Dewsbury and Fanny Barlow born 1864 app Beardsal/Breadsall, Derbyshire In 1871 Edwin should be living with parents Oliver and Sarah in either Birstal or Huddersfield. Fanny should also be with parents (unknown) - probably still in Derbyshire, near Beardsal. In 1891 I expect them to be in or about Dewsbury. They married in 1891 - but I haven't got the exact date yet. So Fanny could be there by maiden or married name. Thankyou so much for your help. Ann
