Joy, You're right 1871 on Ancestry doesnt cover Bucks yet. As for 1891.. I seem to not able to find the families that you've stated.. By then they'd been married and the parents might've died at the time of 1891 census. Sorry, T

Barbara, Cant find any of the Carters b in Kings Norton with that age, sorry .. Possibly because 1871 isn't that complete so they're not added yet. T

Tracy You kindly looked up Henry Wilson for me aged 24 born Girton or Newark possibly living in Scarborough or Hull area, but commented on the fact that there were a few possibilties in yorkshire in 1871 and asked if i knew of anyone that could possibly be living with him. I'm afraid I don't know who is with him because the only possible sons i have were born after 1871. One clue would be his occupation it would be something to do with water possibly a Bargeman- sorry that's all I can give-hope that is something to go on. Best wishes Barbara

Barbara, Have you found them in 1881 Census? If so.. Could you tell me his child's details as I'll use that to look for him in 1891 census and work my way backward.. It's a possible that he's not added to 1871 census yet as ancestry's 1871 isnt complete T
