Thanks again Kal. The 1861 family is definitely one that was missing due to the common error of adding an S. Regards, Nigel & Angela

Hi Kal, Have just seen that you have managed to find someones rellies that lived on Roadway, Bedworth and as that rang a bell with me, i thought i'd jump in and ask for a lookup as well please. I am looking for Nathan Marston born 1860. His mother was Ann born c1823 - haven't figured out who the father is as he was always missing from the other census(!). I know that they were on Roadway for several years so am keeping my fingers crossed that they were there in 61. Also (oops, hope i'm not overdoing the lookup ) were there any NOON names on Roadway. Many thanks, Karen

Kal, You are an genius! I do believe that IS my Marston family ...had sneaking suspicion that father was also Nathaniel! And so many other kids as well...that should keep me quiet for a few days. All i have to do now is fight with the kids over computer time!! Would be really grateful to know if the 1861 census includes Bulkington. Also looking for a Samuel Noon and wife Ann but think that by 1841 they would be in 70's and so probably not around by 1861... Other missing Noon is Thomas born 1799 Dunchurch.Hopefully to be found in 1861 census. Thank you, once again Kal for your generous offers of lookups, Best wishes, karen

Hello Karen, My pleasure, any time, if you want more lookups just ask. Samuel and Ann are not on the 1841, or the 1861. There is a Bulkington road in Kenilworth. It is best if you just give me names to search for, it seems easier, as on the search, it is name or street. Do you think this is your Thomas, it is the onle Thomas Noon on there. Census place....St Micheal, Coventry, Piece RG9/2203, Folio 23, Page 14. Household....2 Near Poddy Croft. Thomas Noon ...Head..60.....Silk Dyer....Born Dunchurch Eliza Noon.....Wife...50....Laundress...Born Ciciley Margaret Noon...Daughter..38...unmarried...Servant...Born Coventry. Ellen Wiles.....Grandaughter....6....Born Coventry. George Powney....Visitor....Unmarried....22....Gardener ...Born Hornbourne STS. Hope this helps. Karen I have copied it exactly as it is on the disc, I wonder if the Hornbourne should read Harbourne? (staffordshire). And i was thinking while i was typing this, lol, Is that Ciciley (Italy) lol. Looked on the 1841 one and you have......... Thos Noon ..40..dyer journeyman....born warks. Eliza Noon...30....foreign Esther Noon....9.....Born Warks John Noon....7..Born Warks Henry Barston...20...Journeyman..born warks. Living at Cow Lane, Coventry....pIECE 1152/14, fOLIO 12, Page 16. Margaret Noon is living with another family as a servant, do you want that household. LOL, same street as my Coventry rellies. If you want me to follow some of these people up on the 1861 let me know, will do it when i come back from the library. I also have the 1851 warwickshire census. If you need any more let me know, off to the library soon. Kindest regards Kal

Karen Report 29 Jun 2004 16:00

Hi Kal, That could indeed be my Thomas. Wonder how you go from being born in"Ciciley" to living in Warwickshire...lets see Ciciley, Warwickshire,Ciciley, Warwickshire...yep, i can see it's a difficult choice. Aahh well, that will give me something to think about!! The Bulkington family i wondered about were called Shaw(they married into my Noons). Father Thomas born 1813-16(depending on which census/record) and wife Ann 1813. Both born Bulkington. They would have had the following kids: William 1841,Ann 1842, Ellen 1844, Hannah 1846 and David 1848. Mother was a very regular person it seems..kids every 2 yrs!! Thanks for the offer of the 51 census - that's one of the few records i do have. I have also Hinckley and district 61,71 and 91 census if your people were that way. It has Wolvey, Burton hastings, Stretton Baskerville from the Warwickshire side and the rest are Leicestershire (i think)I 'd be more than happy to return the favour of a look up. Hope you had a nice time in Birmingham...i'm quite jealous. Am not even near an lds centre.. Guess i'll have to go and do something practical instead - cooking, cleaning or weeding..yuck! Yep, i am REALLY jealous now!! Take care, Karen
