I also think that a possible mother for james beamish may be Esther. and that william married again possibly to Charlotte gravner in september quarter of 1843 in coventry. Also i wonder if the sarah, james is lodging with is his sister on the 1861. I cannot find sarah on the 1851. i hope you can work all this out lol. On the 1841 census living at Far Gosford Street. Book 7 Folio 14 page 21. George vallance age 47 born warks........shoe maker. Maria Vallance age 45 born warks. Hi Kal, Could you do a great favour and look up Fillongley for me, please? I am trying to find anything at all about Joseph Gilman, gardener. (not sure of the spelling). That is all I know about him, except that his wife's name might be Ann, but his son George dob c 1808 was there in 1871 and I'm hoping that he was there in 1861 and that Joseph was living with him in his old age. I'd be grateful for anything. Cheers, Jean

Hi Kal, Thanks for looking for me. I will have to see if I can link the names you gave in my tree. I would assume that they are possibly related as all the Burtons in my family so far were from Coventry starting from my Gt Grandad to his 3x gt grandad born before 1800. Thanks for the info and have a great Xmas. Trixie
