Thanks Lynda. You found them and they were living in the same place as 1881. Were they the only people at the address? Thanks Sharon

Hi Lynda, Have just seen your message and the areas. I am desperate to find a George Greener and his family. George was in the RHA stationed at Woolwich. I need to see George on a census, as I can't find his birth or death record. The family were in Ireland for the 1881 census and 3 of their children were born there. They came back in dec 1881 and went to Pembury Kent. On the 1891 census most of the family are there [except the children who had married] but no George! his wife puts herself as 'married'. On the 1901 His wife and 4 children are there but she puts herself as a widow. Family gossip says he went off with a waoman from the local workhouse! All I know is there is George, Maryann, Henry, Fanny and Maryann. Fanny was my Ggranmother and her birth cert states she was born sunnyhill. Somebody checked that and said they weren't there, maybe they moved house? I know the youngest Maryann was bap in St Mary Mag Woolwich in Jan 1873 [as were the other 2 in 1868 and 1871] so I know they were there somewhere. Thank you so much Dawn Hurst NZ

Hi Linda, Wonder if you could me with my elusive family. Janet was kind enough to help re 1891 and thought got the right members but received certs and bit confused to say the least! The family am looking for are Minns - John (my GTgrandfather) DoB 5/12/1862 at 16 Clarence Place,Southwark. Reg district St George Southwark Mother Susan Richard Minns 21 Henry Street Southwark Reg district St Saviour Surrey. Reason am confused is that Johns marriage cert gives father as Richard but birth as George. But on Richard's death cert the informant is a susan same as Johns birth cert. Both cert also give occupation as Hawker of Vegetables.! Thanks in advance Sue x

Hi Lynda, this is a long shot as I haven't a complete address. Am looking for JENNINGS family in Plaistow/West Ham area. Father William age 47ish, Mother Sarah age 44ish, kids Madon(n)a (!) age 4ish and possibly Arthur just born (1881 shows him age 10 born Plaistow). May be other older kids at home too. No address yet for 1861 but in 1881 the family were in Bradley Street/Lane in West Ham. Not expecting much, but if you find I will be your best friend!! Thanks in advance. Maz. XX
