I perhaps didn't explain my query properly but the information I wanted was where my Nan (Alice Tucker) was living in 1939.

A long lost cousin has recently been in touch (which is great) and we are trying to put together where people lived in 1939.

George Tucker (bootmaker) was my great granddad.

ArgyllGran. I have the 1911 census and the name was transcribed wrong. It was stated as Turner but was the right family and they were living in stoke newington. I dont know if they were together as I dont know anything about my grandad since 1911.I know he was gassed in WW1 and was sent home from the war but that is all. i dont know when he died But Alice didnt die until 1964 in Essex
