Kathryn, What a strange book to find! Would be grateful if you could check for Jacksons hung for sheep stealing between 1750 and 1824. Family names include Charles James Matthew and John. Possible places are Perthshire or Peebles. Rosemary (Essex)

Hi Rosemary No Jacksons listed however there is a James Jack executed at Glasgow for robbery on 07/07/1784.

Can you please check for any listings for Huckstep? I can trace my decendants back to 1884- that's as far as i have been so far. But not sure if they came from Scotland or England, but would be interesting to know as it is not a very common surname. Thank you in advance. Karen

Hi Sue John Barnet executed at Aberdeen for theft by housebreaking on 06/11/1818. Came from Kirktown of Peterhead. There is more detail which if a match I will post. No Armour. No Maillie or Mallie. Kathryn
