l might add that a number of people sitting behind us had the same problem having booked with Ticket Master and the people next to them, they were all furious and extremely upset at having lost approx £300!!!

Jude, when you say they had lost £300 do you mean they had paid for dearer seats and got the cheaper ones? If they have proof surely that is fraud.

Ann - yes . l don't have the tickets now as he needs them as proof of purchase, but l think he paid £150 each (x 4) and got 4 x £75.00, plus the handling fee's presumably. Was told on Saturday that promotional packages should have arrived same time as tickets, but they did'nt arrive, not that he wanted them.
Ticket Master are apparently known for this and they said on Saturday there is nothing he can do.

I got my pre-sale tickets this morning after sitting on the internet for an hour and half. Got them through Ticketmaster, although the same block different row seats are on seatwave for over £1000....

Oh wow.....Good luck girls, hope you enjoy the show. My daughter was desperate to go also but decided as she's seen him she'll remember him as he was, but she will be envious of all of you :o))

But please be aware of Ticket Master, you may have paid for them now but its when they arrive that things could be different. Ours arrived 3 days before the show having booked them last MAY!!

I got my tickets about 7.45am this morning, despite being cut off after 30 minutes of being in the telephone queue.

I am looking forward to 23rd September.

Thought I'd raise this issue again as there is such doubt as to whether MJ will actually perform his July concerts (if any at all!). If he doesn't go ahead with a concert and a refund is given, I wonder what will happen to those who paid extortionate prices on ebay for their tickets? Presumably the refund will go to the original purchaser (the ebay seller) and it will be up to their honesty/integrity as to whether they pass the money on to whoever they sold the ticket to? In any case, the refund will only be for the original price of the ticket, not the huge mark-up figure that it was sold at. Never more has the saying been truer: buyer beware!

Pamela,
We got tickets for the third show, This July. Im not that bothered to be honest but my husband was really looking forward to it.
Ours is one of those that has been re-scheduled for March 2010. I think it's a damn cheek! We should have been at one of the 1st shows, Not the last.
I doubt that he will do all of the shows, It all seems to be a big publicity stunt, i.e How many fans do I still have.... The thing is I bet that more than half of those tickets went to touts, Serves them right!

Hi all, I was surprised to find my thread resurrected!

I didn't get any tickets at all, sadly, even though I got a code for every one of my five email addresses. It took ages to get close, as others have said, then I kept getting cut off.

Ticketmaster warnings have been taken on board, thanks to all who raised these concerns.

So clearly there is hope for a later concert - although maybe I will just stock up on the CDs.
