I don't know whether it's old age (but not that old!), I'm sure I remember a time when "carpet jackets" were in fashion. That is jackets that looked as if they were made of carpets.

No news yet then I hoped that after taking dog for a walk TWG would have some more news for us. . . . . . . . . . .. . . carries on waiting

What ever this wee one is going to be it's just too cosy in mum's tummy , hope TWG daughter is getting plenty of rest , she'll not get much when the baby arrives.
I'm off to do some ironing , I'll pop in later to see how things are moving along.

Coooooeeeeee, just popping my head around the thread door to see if a grand entrance has been made yet.... nope!!

Anyone fancy a cuppa... have to make one for the lads, so an extra urn shouldn't be a problem.... all that hot water shouldn't be allowed to go to waste, now, should it?

Bickie to dunk? Jaffa or ginger?

Fiona Report 9 Jun 2009 14:00

Sorry Daff, Don't like the smell of camomile, was told to drink it at bed time to help sleep but couldn't .

we could always ditch the tea and I'll bring a bottle of wine and we could wet the babies head now before it arrives.
Maybe someone else can bring another to celebrate when it does finely come. we will really be merry by then.

Pops in for possible news update........

I hope all goes well.

Don't forget to buy a newspaper for the day of birth to keep for baby.
Oh, ...and take a picture of birthplace and home address.
You know how we hunt all over the place for details of relatives, so may as well keep a record !

It's just great being a grandparent.
Nearly 14 years now since I was at the birth of our young one, but such a special event.
