Well, if you look back LWH you will see that Dizzi said she had been out and only read Gill's message on her return - about half way down this thread I think! a long time after David had posted his apology to Gill.

So how on earth could David know that Gill had messaged Dizzi?

you don't have to be a member to read the boards which is a bit scary

Sorry Jac, I hadn't realised the point you were making, I thought you meant that Gill couldn't see the thread. Sorry. Yes of course, you're perfectly right. Besides how would Uggers know who to contact to contact Gill? Besides if he made a public accusation, I can't see the problem with a public apology. Now if he was wanting to debate a contentious issue, I could see why he may want to keep it off the boards, but an apology?

If someone wants to apologise in private, that is a whole different matter.

So here's the timetable of events then:

17.01 David posts apology

17.09 Gill emails Dizzi

17.21 Dizzi posts Gill's message to David

Now unless Uggers is psychic, and I dont think he is, he wouldnt have a scoobie that Gill had sent an acceptance via Dizzi, would he LWH.

So how is goodness name could he "apologise via Dizzi" (which is what I took your response to mean) BEFORE he knew of her involvement?
