Depends. You can get good quality stuff at reasonable prices.

I've shopped in them for years - I was a single mum for a long time so they were a blessing.

Still use them even now.

I think, generally, no, they don't. And it all goes to a good cause as well.

I love charity shops : )

Some can be a bit pricey but there are always bargains to be had .

Only yesterday I bought a pair of blue / leopard print skinny legged , look like a rock star , type jeans , for the princely sum of £2.99.........will I ever wear them ?........only time will tell.......lol

There is a Barnardos charity shop just over the road from me , I confess to being in there at least three times a week.

The best bargain this year was a few days ago . A lovely ( nearly new ) wooden cot for £30 , it's a Mamas and Papas one , just what we needed for the new grandchild : )

does depend on area and also the charity. Where I moved from there were two , one was a ' pile it high sell it cheap' place, the other was laid out like a 'proper' shop but priced quite high, some of the tops etc, you could buy for roughly same price in the market.

I think prices of items may have increased lately, due to the rental of the shops being increased.
