...........in the form of a change you'd like to see being implemented on this site...what would it be.?

I'm torn between an ignore button or an end to the use of the delete button.xx

I'd like the delete button to be done away with - that way everyone knows exactly who's said what.

It's most annoying to see posts deleted.

Ignore is good, as long as you can unclick it again,or you don't know what everyone else is going on about lol.

I would prefer to see the end of the delete button. At least that way, if there is a deleted post,we'll know GR deleted it. And people will HAVE to stand by what they say.

The removal of the delete button, it wouldn't stop strategic editing, but it might help the wums stay away.

Gr would be able to delete any post like that though alko

edit to say posting personal info about another person is probably never a good idea anyway

Rambling

Rambling Report 27 Jun 2009 17:17

well in that case , the post can be edited anyway , which would still leave the posters name up. which would certainly help.

THreads can be seen by non-members anyway Joan. But even if the delete button were removed, there would still be the edit button, so they could edit that sort of thing out of a post on request.

It does state in the terms and conditions not to put personal details on the site though, and it's also common sense.

I would like a "get on with it " button as in hurry up for heavens sake. I waited half an hour to get into trees today, by whitch time I was on something else and had completely forgotton why I wanted it in the first place.

I would opt for the one name only allowed unless the change is for a very good reason, allowed by admin.

Free membership; no edit button; no delete button; only one board name.

I'd put in an automatic block on silly people sending me pm's for no real reason that I can see. A little microchip that says "no this is a stupid pm and I'm not letting it go through".

I would like to see a limit on how many times a member can change their name within a certain time limit - say, one change only per month - then I would know who to avoid......I don't like talking to nutters who are looking for a bite from anyone just to attract attention to themselves.
