Can not stand Jim Reeves.... his songs are so depressing.

My Dad really liked him and used to play his records all the time...... along with Max Bygraves..... even worse. lol. One of my Dad's few faults.

I do like listening to Jim Reeves, went to buy his new cd the another day from Asda and they had sold out so there must still be a call for his music.

I love listening to Jim Reeves music - it always relaxes me.
Forget when he died, but think it must have been when I was very young, but it wasnt till late teens, early 20's that I started liking his music.
I was watching a documentery about him years ago, and was very surprised to learn that he was bald and had chosen to wear a wig for his public performances to help his image.

My dad was a great fan of his so I remember a lot of JR's records from my childhood.

They make me sad when I hear them but I think that's more to do with memories of my dad than the songs themselves.

But yes, I like his stuff.

Bobbie, you want to scare the neighbours and quiet them down? put on the "1812 Overture at full chat," that should sort it.**M**.
