Get real Bob, if we go into town and can't park and no OH won't park on double yellows because the street is too narrow, I lose my right to shop!!! |

It's "the look" you get...................Not all disabilities are visible & gawd help you if you're young,there is an underlying prejudice against people with "invisible" disabilities & the Government doesnt help with its preposterous ad campaign. |

Good for you SueM....I know parking is a nightmare, its an old market town, built WAY before cars.....! you cannot just leave the car at the side of the road for a minute - cos that gridlocks the whole town.... |

Ummmmmm! am not sure how to take that......maybe my dad can be the one to deal with the kids then! lol! Driving past the old rectory etc will be a nightmare friday - cos everyone going back to mum's after! |

i often park in the mother and child spaces when the disabled places are full, the guy in the carpark always smiles at me when i put my bluebadge on show. no one has ever complained about me doing this. |

I complained about a car once - in a parent and child one - when O was still in a carry car seat thingy - to the customer service desk, she parked and walked off whilst I was circling looking for one! They called the car owner - who said she was disabled and there were no disabled spaces. I suggested that the customer service desk went and checked the cars parked in the disabled spaces and call the owners who were not displaying blue badges (btw - the woman hadn't displayed her badge - although she had it with her!) they didn't....! |
