3rd wave has just hit chatham islands measuring half a metre high this means they are expecting it to be about a metre hitting the east coast of nz. |

We've been told to expect rough seas further north than we are. More a problem for boats and rock fishermen or so they say. Let's hope people heed the warning. |

ok guys evrything looks good lots of water surges around the country but no big waves apparently this will keep up for the next few hours,some of the harbours are a bit like washing machines and people have taken there boats out as a precaution so they dont get smashed to bits but otherwise ok |
