...................................................this ghastly habit of women wearing pyjamas when out in public. What's that all about?

??

Never seen any.

(Saw a couple of women today wearing white leggings and white T-shirts - and the leggings were a bit see-through and the women were not young and sylph-like and it was really not pretty ... bleugh)

Oh so that's why I've never seen any. (Polishes nails on shoulder and looks innocently out of window.) 'Cos I live in a posh area ...

LOL

Not often Hayley - but now and then I see young women walking around in pyjamas and now in winter with a jacket over the top. It looks awful.

~~~~~~~~to Jill. I agree - leggings don't always look good:-))
Now it's all coming out:-)) Pink jammies sound......nice.
The first time I saw a couple of young women wearing them I thought they were doing it on a dare but it seems like it's a new trend.
Yep, that was me, the trend setter!
I also wore new jeans in a bath full of domestos and water in an effort to shrink them to my size and make them look old
Happy days
SueMaid ... where are you?
I remember it was the trend to wear pj's in Liverpool over three years ago when I was living there.
Not caught up yet here in North Wales.
I wont even open the door in my pj's. Makes me think of my Mum when she used to put her falsies in (teeth) when the door bell rang .... don't mention the rollers. :))
Never seen it here in this part of North America. Except back in the 50s/early 60s when we'd put our jammies on to go to a drive-in movie.
Saw an old geezer wandering down the street in his bathrobe and slippers about 15 years ago, on a bright sunny Saturday morning. He may have had underwear on underneath, but he may not. So my buddy followed him while I called 911, thinking he was an Alzheimer patient who had slipped out or some such. I stayed on the phone while buddy tracked him. The dispatcher and I shared a giggle when I reported that he had now been spotted returning from the 7-11 on the corner with his take-out coffee and newspaper.
Libby - I'm in Australia. We must be a bit behind with the latest fashion:-))
LPC - so when I imagined you and your family I was right lol
Janey - I can remember putting on my PJ's in the 50's and 60's when going to a drive-in movie. Mum had us do that so we could be put straight to bed:-))
I'm supposed to be working.
