Hi all

My email has been hacked by a idiot who is sending emails to my friends saying I have been attacked in spain had all my cash and credit cards stolen and that I need money.

I have been trying to find a contact for hotmail for the last hour to report this and ask them to sort it out as I can not get on to my emails as the hacker has changed my password

Does anybody have a contact for Hotmail?

Try this page Debbie - cannot remember if this is the exact page I used but have just had the same problem, with same email.
It tells you all about resetting password etc
Finally got my email back tonight - with all contacts deleted!!

Can't you send an e-mail to said you have forgotten your password & they mail it to you...then you get in to change it all back

Sorry to hear that ,
same thing happened to me with the same sort of storyline,
My son sorted it out for me, he had to change my password .
Hope you get things sorted out soon,
There are some right ratbags out there,

I was away when it happened to me (though not in Spain), one of my contacts reported it as spam and hotmail closed my account! I finally managed to get the account back this evening - with all my contacts deleted. :-(

Have tried what you said the problem is the password is going to my hacker Ch***@yahoo.com I cant get it sent to another email :(

The problem is the hacker has kept my email but changed all emails to his address Ch***@yahoo.com that is what my computer is telling me

I cant find no support for hotmail to contact to try and get this sorted out

I'm writing you because i really need your help,my family and I came down here to Madrid (Spain), for a short vacation unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed,all cash,credit cards and cell were stolen off us but luckily for us we still have our passports with us.


I have been to the embassy and the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves pretty soon from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills. your contribution will go along way here. Please be so kind to reply back so i can tell you what to do and how to get some cash to us...

This one is doing the rounds....I received a similar one today from a so called friend in Singapore, The said person is not in my address book but I know him from genes!

Sadly people will be taken in by this and will respond by sending money......these people are scum.

Debbie - near the bottom of that page is a contact for support if none of those measures work. You will need an alternative email for them to contact you - that is what I had to do, although my account had been closed down by then. xxx

Im not on facebook so i really dont know how the person hacked me I thought my security was good but we live and learn

my phone has not stopped ringing asking if i am ok that is how i found out about it. I have contacted the police about it and was told to take a copy of the email to them which i will do.

but if feel so fed up about it all and just cant seem to find a contact for hotmail

I have been on all my online account's and changed my email address and pasword and my bank as i do online banking

it's not good why people do this

A friend who received the scam email from me asked for proof that it was me - she received this back:
' Why all this question,i thought you are my church member so why calling me a scam,after telling i was mugged.'
They are not nice people!!

Any emails I get who i dont know where they come from I delete

That sounds like not speaking English is a crime. English speaking people do things like this too.

Right I have just done Feed back thanks unclesamesneice so I await their reply

I cant do I forgot the password as somehow the hacker has got all my emails going to his email address which all i have found out is ch***@yahoo.com.

I am still thinkiing how did they get in to my computer

what a nightmare my on line banking has been stoped I've even changed my log in details to this site
