I've got sweeties to hand out this year and candles glowing in the window as a sign to the kiddies that this is a house they can happily knock at . |

We have had 5 calls, all with a parent in tow which is good. Had a couple of tricks as well with scarey spiders. |

We had our one ane only caller about half an hour ago and he must surely be the youngest ever, just three weeks old, together with eleven year old brother and Mum. Baby was dressed in what I still call "siren suit" but one like a little lamb,in a car/carry-seat and in his pram, and brother in a sheet with all "blood " streaks on the sheet and himself. |

I had some sweets for the little ones and the ones that came around were dressed up and polite. I don't answer the door to older teenagers who don't bother to dress up and are just after the treats. I also worry about the older ones taking the sweets off the little ones. Fortunately most of the younger ones are supervised by parents - but not all. |
