	You were lucky I tried for the two hours to access the 1911 census. I only wanted one record but kept getting the site maintenance page. GR announced on facebook at the end of the extra hour that the time had been extended. What a pity they do not communicate with us on here. Happy New Year everyone

	I had my search all filled in and ready to go. On the stroke of 6, I clicked on "search" and immediately got the maintenance message. I expected the site to be struggling to cope with demand, but not at a millisecond past 6pm! Very disappointing. I finally had some limited success during the extra hour at the end. Was that because a lot of people had given up and logged off? Or did they finally get the server running properly?
