	Can we have some positive thoughts please for Jean (Monmouth) OH. He has shingles and is not at all well. Hope you don't mind my putting this on the boards Jean, but l know the gr crowds 'positive thoughts' are mighty!! and its so nice to know people care. Take care both of you. jude, Vic and madoc:o) x

	Oh bless him, hope he will feel better soon - it's a horrible pain and can hang on after the rash and blisters have gone. Lots of positive thoughts that he is soon on the mend. Lizxx

	Been there :-( Paracetomol, cool packs and no scratching! Horrid, really knocks the stuffing out. Wishing Mr Jean more comfortable soon.

	would taking antihistamine tablets help? That's if it's itchy My daugther got chicken pox when she was 21 ............. and the doctor suggested a name brand over-the-counter antihistamine would help ease itching it worked wonders for her! sylvia

	Thank you all, such a surprise, Jude, you monkey! He has been knocked for six as the medication didnt agree with him. he has not been eating well for some time and this put him to bed for a few days, had the Dr because he had trouble standing. Was given tablets to help him swallow and he is getting fitter, but has not been to his shed or out of the house for ten days. you would have to know him to realise what that means. I have threatened to divorce him, citing the shed, before now.!
