Thanks everyone for your kind messages. I have been thinking of the family in Malta all yesterday and hope things went off as ok as possible.
My son sent a message to his half bro saying he was thinking of them all and wishing he could have been there to pay his respects, his bro sent a message back but son didn't say what it was as he was in a rush when I spoke with him and got distracted by a caller at the door.

What with remembering Joyce and Nanna, I got to wondering about if they meet up, my Mum and Dad too - would be nice for my son's two Nans to meet and maybe there is no language barrier whereever they are.
