over the next two weeks. I wil either be on here at odd times when the electricity is actually on, or wont be on at all. At least I can turn my hearing aids off when they take up the floors and level them. Also all electrics in those places is to be fitted in the wall, no wiring showing, so there will be a lot of drilling to be put up with. I may go round the bend, but you wont notice that I expect!. |

Ohhh....I really don't envy you. We had a new kitchen fitted 12 years ago and if it falls to pieces it is going to stay that way..........I couldn't go through it again!! |

Well week one is over. Bathroom is done all barring that essential, the radiator! Not showering in a cold room at my age thank you! The toilet is finished except for a small radiator we have been promised to keep down the condensation. Kitchen has to have the non-slip floor laid and the decorating needs doing in al of them. Ceiling only in bathroom as that has been white tiled all round. |

Well, we were allowed to use the shower this weekend, so we dont feel quite so dusty. On the down side, the water from the shower (its a wet room) has come out through the doorway and soaked the carpet outside. The floor hasnt been cambered properly. So it looks as though they may have to start that again! |

Well, the work is finished and we are now in the process of replacing everything in the kitchen, less cupboard space than before, so having to part with a lot of things that I didnt want to. Whole process made disastrous because I can ahrdly move for I have trapped a nerve in my back. cant get any relief from it. first time on boards for days, may be awhile before i am well enough to join in the chat. |

Have now been put on Tramodol and co-codamol for the back pain. I constantly have a dry mouth and a sicky feeling. |
