Hi Lynne,Glad you were pleased with result.I think it's good to pass on things we can recommend, just the same as I do with neighbours when I get good service from workmen etc.
sorry I don't know about cleaning the top of your cooker.I have a gas hob,but if it is ceramic I think you have to have a special cream.
My mother always used Bicarb around her rings to clean and after over 20 years it looked as though it had come out of a showroom.

Or lynne could try the pot of pink paste made by Vanish.

I am disabled and can't manage myself to do oven but I have a company called SouthEastOvenCleaners.co.uk my oven looks as good as new, they take out the shelves the inside wall panels, rubber strip and doors are taken apart it comes up looking shining and looks new. Cost £45 not too bad I only have it done once every one/two years.

Just reminded me I must do our oven. I have always used Oven Pride. When I've done the cooker I put the BBQ racks in the liquid.

Well I have the cleanest cooker in town!!!! Left all the oven insides in "OVEN PRIDE" all evening kept turning every half hour. This morning I washed them off and put them in dishwasher with all the bits off the hob. CLEAN AS A BELL used a hand held steamer to get into all the corners of the oven and the grill, which I haven't used in the big oven for ages. kept setting all the grease on fire.!!!!! Left the grill on for half hour, no smoke now. Have now got the baking trays in dishwasher. this morning at 8.30 I only went to get some breakfast. Still not eaten But feel quite please with myself

hi frank and all you helpful people.
