I've been advised to wait for Frederick and Kate's marriage certificate, to get the details of Frederick's father - hopefully! :-)

That way I should be able to find him on a census. I haven't a clue where he was born. I just know he died 1929 at the age of 51yrs old.

Hiya

Received Frederick and Kate's wedding certificate today and his father's name was James, so it looks like Choccy's finding were correct! Hopefully I'll be able to find his birth certificate now. Thanks you so much for all your help! x

Hi Rose, yes the occupation matched, and it looks like his father was in the same occupation, domestic coachman. The witnesses were Rosa Kimpton (who we think must've been Kate's sister in law) and James Hill, which could've been either Frederick's father or his brother
