Could you please say a prayer for Seve .he has had four operations since 2008 for a brain tumour only 54yrs.old. he was a good golfer & a perfect gentleman .his illness has returned & he is not well. Prayers & special Thoughts to him & his family (((((((hugs))))))) Barbra xx

A good looking young man, (dau adored him) talented golfer and never any scandal. Was upset to hear this news - prayers are with him and his family.

I used to enjoy watching him play, sad to hear this. Will remember him and his family in prayer.

.This is so sad. He was mentioned by commentators at the Masters recently and I thought he was holding his own. Sad to hear that he's not the best.

Poor man. Such a shame. He was such a character on the course and eveyone loved him. We still do.

I watched a programme about him a while back, and hadn't realised till then how ill he had been. He had fought back so well and seemed such a lovely man, who didn't deserve all that had happened to him.

I am sorry he has become unwell again but am glad he is with his family and hope he can find the strength to fight some more, with their support and love.

He was a very good looking man, even when recovering in the programme I watched and had such dignity and yet was funloving too.

Just announced on our news that he has passed away. You are right Liz he loved life and it is very sad to see someone with such strenghts fade away like that.

I have just read that Seve has died. How terribly sad. He was by all accounts a man who honoured and respected family life.

Heard this sad news on TV this morning. I took up the
game years ago with my OH,we were great fans of his.
Unfortunately had to give it up due to RA, but he inspired
me to try golf and I loved it and miss playing.

Shame on them - not one of the top American golfers (or those on the American circuit) attended Seve's funeral. It was mentioned that some would be playing in a competition but not all of them. All busy chasing that big buck - the dollar.

His European golfing colleagues were there an the Ryder Cup golfers.
